Instructions are included for The Broken Herringbone (cover) and Unbroken Herringbone (back). Due to the construction methods, the exact size of the finished quilt may vary slightly. The scraps cut from the quilt during construction can be reserved for a pieced back. Two examples of ways to utilize the scraps for a pieced back are found in the final section of the pattern.
