PLOVER POUCH - a fun & useful pouch in 3 sizes
A fun zippered pouch you’re sure to love to make and use! Three sizes to sew! All sizes have an interior dividable mesh pocket that is perfect for keeping everything organized. Medium and Large sizes include an interior zippered pocket.

Approx. Finished Dimensions:
Small: 8” wide by 2 ¾” deep, 6” tall
Medium: 10” wide by 3 ½” deep, 7 ½” tall
Large: 12 ½” wide by 4” deep, 8 ½” tall

Materials needed: (from the back of the pattern)
PLEASE NOTE: Zipper length is a fixed-length size zipper, instructions are also given if using zipper by the yard/continuous zipper.
Recommended Fabrics:
Quilting cotton, cotton/linen blend (up to 6.5 oz. weight) for Exterior and Accent fabrics. Quilt-ing cotton for Lining fabric.
Supplies Needed for Day of Class:
- Sewing machine with appropriate thread, ¼” foot, zipper foot, edge (topstitch) foot and size#14 or 16 Microtex needle or Denim needle
- Thread to coordinate
- Rotary Cutter
- Cutting mat for personal use
- Rulers (12 ½” and other sizes are helpful)
- Scissors and Thread snips
- Pins and Wonder clips (small and large)
- Removeable Marking Pens (Frixion, water-soluble pen/tailor’s chalk, Air Erase Pen)
- Glue or Glue Pen
- ¼” Steam-A Seam Double Sided Fusible Tape or By Annie’s Basting Tape
- Stiletto
- Pinking Shears (optional)
- Fray block or Fray Check (optional - seals ends of webbing)
- Snap setting tool if using metal snaps/hand sewing needle if using shirt buttons
- Irons and Large Cutting Mats (provided by store)

Each student must have a working sewing machine (or make arrangements to rent one of ours). You must know how to operate your machine. We recommend bringing your manual in case you have any technical issues during class. |
