You’ll love taking this versatile and compact crossbody bag on all of your travels. The zippered top main compartment and handy back zippered pocket keep all your essentials secure while the front pocket(s) provides easy access to the items you use most. Easy to use and wear adjustable crossbody strap and two fun sizes to make! Special features:

Pattern: Traverse Bag by Noodlehead Materials needed: (from the back of the pattern) Some Recommendations Provided from the back of the Pattern: *Pattern assumes zipper tape width of 1"
*PLEASE NOTE: this pattern is written for fixed-length zippers (not zipper by the yard, adjust accordingly if substituting)
Instructor’s Recommendations: Pattern uses a metal snap cap size 24 (size 20 is an appropriate substitute). If using the snap cap please bring tools to class to insert your snap caps. The teacher will provide instruction in attaching the various hardware items but will not attach them.
Shop sample has a magnetic snap rivet as a closure. You may purchase these items directly from the teacher. Cash only. Instruction on how to insert a magnetic snap rivet closure will be provided along with the necessary tools to be shared.
Modifications for adding additional interfacing options will be provided in the prework sheet. *Modifications are made to accommodate 1” hardware instead of ¾” as given in the pattern. Measurements are provided in the prework sheet

I am a retired math teacher with over 30 years experience and taught classes at Amelia's Garden Sewing Boutique In Delmar, NY. I have been quilting since the late 90's. I am a modern quilting enthusiast and enjoy making bags!! I am a co-designer of The Perfect Wallet and the designer of The Mini Wallet. I enjoy teaching others and inspire them to build on and expand their quilting and sewing skills. |
