Mary and Karis will be your compass, steering you through the intricate world of bag making with their expertise and infectious enthusiasm. As you immerse yourself in the world of topstitching and zippers, fear not, for our tag team of textile titans will be on standby to answer all your burning questions.

To sweeten the deal, we'll keep your creative juices flowing with nibbles and drinks, while you bring your lunch to keep the energy high. So, grab your machine, gather your supplies, and let Bag-A-Licious Days weave a tapestry of tote-ally awesome memories!

Requirements: Supplies Needed:
  • mats and irons are provided for use at the shop, but you may bring your own personal cutting mats for your table. It will be two per table, depending on the crowd
  • Sewing machine in good working order (you must know how to operate the machine), cords to operate your machine, foot pedal, quarter foot (also known as a patchwork foot), a walking foot and/or free-motion quilting foot User manual for your machine for troubleshooting, if needed
  • Thread of appropriate color for quilting your quilt and 50 wt. thread in a neutral color for piecing
  • 45 mm Rotary cutter each student must have their own
  • Rulers
  • Personal cutting mat
  • Scissors and thread snips
  • Washout or air-erase fabric marking pens or pencils
  • Stiletto
  • Glue stick or alternative
  • Seam ripper
  • Best Press or starch alternative, Flatter (optional)
  • Small personal iron and wool mat (optional)
