Another Lazy Sunday Quilt Class

Pattern by: May Chappell Designs
Educator: Helen Abernathy

This quilt does take longer than a Sunday afternoon, but it is fun to make.

All you will need is a jelly roll or 14 fat quarters plus one 3 ½" square per block. The sample quilt is made up of 40 blocks resembling half a log cabin quilt design set on point. This throw size quilt measures 51” x 63 ½”.

You also may need four to eight small paper bags. (I'll explain what this fun element is for in a future email to students [wink]).

Instructions to make a throw, a twin, a double/queen or king size quilt are also included in the pattern. The quilt can be scrappy like I chose or planned with light and dark 2 ½" strips of your color choice.
