Sew Day in the Creative Studio

We love Sew Days at The Modern Sewist! It's like having your own personal quilting retreat in our bright and beautiful space. Sign up solo or bring a few friends and make it a party.

The Benefits of Sew Days:

• There is no cost
• Access to our large tables to spread out
• Access to our cutting stations
• Access to our design walls
• Access to our pressing stations - including our Laura Star system
• Meeting other quilters and creatives
• No distractions from home
• Receive a 10% discount on your regularly priced purchases at the conclusion of the session

• We have limited seats each session, so you must register 
• If you cannot attend, you must call to cancel your spot
• Bring your own machine or hand sewing project (some rentals available - call for details)
• Sew Days are self-paced and self-led - there are no instructors on hand
• If you have a group of 8 or more wishing to use the creative studio on a Sew Day, you must call in advance to make arrangements
• Hours are 11 am - 3:30 pm
• Feel free to bring your lunch or order in

• We ask you to avoid any fragrances (perfume, scented lotions, etc.) as a courtesy to your fellow students and our staff
• On class days, you should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance, so you can be set up and ready to sew on time. Instructors will begin on time. If you are running late, please contact us so we can inform the instructor.
• Only registered students may participate in the classes and events
• Registered students will receive a 10% discount on their regularly priced purchases the day of their class or event (this includes Sew Days)
