Abstractions One-Day Workshop with Violet Craft

We are so excited to be hosting International instructor, Violet Craft, for a one-day workshop! Choose from one of her many Abstraction patterns and learn from the mistress of all things foundation paper piecing. This is not a beginner's class - you will be learning the more advanced techniques of FPP.

The Workshop will begin promptly at 9am. Doors will open at 8am for set-up and a morning treat of coffee and muffins. We will break for a lovely lunch and then finish our workshop at 4pm.

We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity to learn with Violet - she's a hard one to book - aren't we just lucky ducks?!

You can find your prep instructions HERE.

Skill Level: intermediate

    PREP prior to workshop:

    1. The patterns have templates that should be copied onto 11"x17" paper (in most cases). You will want to come prepared so you don't have to cut into your pattern copy.

    3. Pull your fabric and label! You will receive a generous 20% discount on fabric for this workshop. Let us assist you with your pull and labeling - you'll be glad you did.

Instructor Bio: I am a licensed designer with Robert Kaufman and distribute my own line of sewing patterns, but mostly I am a momma, a wife, a friend and a maker. I was born in the Old West where I pursued my education in business and finance. The start of my career in software development brought me to the Pacific Northwest where I bagged my man, feathered my nest and stitched it all together. Drawn to art, craft and make-ing, the birth of my first daughter compelled me to ditch my corporate career and seek out my passion. My children's apparel line, Kung Fu Bambini, reached boutiques in 2004. My first fabric collection debuted with Michael Miller Fabrics in Spring 2011 along with the first Violet Craft Distinctive Lifestyle Sewing Patterns. I teach sewing and design workshops which are often influenced by my awesomely nerdy former career.
