I'm happy to share the beautiful "Bella Duster"! This is what happens when patchwork collides with fashion, and the result is a stylish silhouette you can create using pieced fabrics or a single print. Quilting fabrics compliment the jacket structure perfectly! Now you know what to do with all of your best loved scraps! Enjoy and Happy Sewing! - Love, Amy!
The Bella Duster is designed as a semi-fitted garment so it's best to wear light-medium weight clothing underneath. If you'll be wearing heavier layers, you'll want to make the next larger size. Using your measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your bust, hips and waist. The bust measurement will dictate your size. Follow the Body Measurements Chart below to determine the size of your Duster. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger of the two. Adjustments can be made to the waist and hip area by adding or subtracting from the side, side front and side back seams and drawing a new line on the pattern pieces. (See my Techniques and Terminology page or the pattern Glossary for full instructions.)

Notes: The yardage given is for a one-way design. Allow extra yardage for matching or centering a design on your fabric. The Bella Duster is made using 44” wide quilting weight fabric, please see the Yardage Chart below.
