Yes, you can quilt your own quilts on a domestic sewing machine! Learn the basics of needle and thread selection, basting and machine set up and find out how to achieve a consistent stitch length and tension. Several stitch patterns will be explored, including stippling, swirls and loops, pebbles and more! You will get plenty of time to play and have fun in this three hour class! (You must bring a sewing machine that allows for the feed dogs to be lowered - or you can rent one of ours!)

This 3-hour lecture and hands-on-demonstration is the ideal introduction to garment making for a successful finish. Linda will teach you everything from how to take measurements, selecting fabrics, how to read a pattern, pattern layout and tools used.
